Refuse Censorship!
The US Senate has passed a bill, S.486, banning teaching or publishing
information on how to manufacture controlled substances, and this
includes how to grow marijuana.
The House Bill that covers similar territory is HR.2987,
which they may consider next January.

Well, this is UnConstitutional, ridiculous, and patently offensive.
I don't recommend becoming a pothead or junkie, and some drugs
really can be dangerous as well as unwise (especially Tobacco and
Alcohol), but some people benefit from medical use of marijuana, and
some people just enjoy the stuff and don't want to deal with
criminal syndicates to get it, and some of you want to grow
marijuana as a good old capitalist farm crop.
So I'm going to tell you how.
- Get Marijuana Seeds
- Plant them in dirt
- Water Them - enough, but not too much
- Put them somewhere light, either daylight or artificial
- Let God do his work - they'll grow just fine.
That's really all there is to it. There are some subtleties, like
keeping cops from stealing them, and separating the male and female
flowers like George Washington told his gardener to do (if you're
concerned about getting extra-high-quality product), and whether to
use fertilizers or hydroponics or organic dirt, and deciding when to
harvest the stuff, and drying it so it doesn't get moldy, but you
can work those out for yourself. So practice, practice, practice!

What to do with the Marijuana when you have it
- Give it to somebody who needs it.
- Share it with your friends!
- Put it in your pipe and smoke it. Be sure to use a good bong to
cool the smoke instead of one of those easily-hidden little pipes which can burn your throat.
Too bad that the government bans bongs and other tools that make smoking
safer.
- Roll a joint. Remember to use less marijuana if you're smoking
flowers, especially good stuff, and more if it's just ditchweed leaves.
DRUG PARAPHRENALIA MAY BE ILLEGAL! So print out this web page,
using soy-based ink and non-acid paper, and cut into
appropriate-sized strips
- Make tea.
- Make cookies - you could just mix it in, or you can saute it in
the butter so it dissolves the THC better. Be careful of
positive feedback effects!These will give you the munchies,
and you'll have this plate of cookies in front of you....
- Don't drive until you're not stoned and not tired.

The US Agriculture Department - Put out a film Hemp For Victory teaching farmers how to grow hemp to make rope for the war effort. You could get a draft exemption for growing 5 acres - unfortunately they'd stopped this program by the Vietnam war :-)
