Organizations

Chevalier's Flunkies (depowered, imprisoned): Several people infected with a blood-dwelling form of sensillae by Chevalier, which gave them superpowers and let him dominate them them pheromonally, now kept powerless by regular blood replacements. Members: Daylight, Frost, Hydra, Stealth
Democratic Monster (mostly imprisoned, including leader): Loosely organized group of paranormal anti-global activists, mostly young and low-powered, lead by Warcry; only a couple escaped the incident at the Chicago Commodity Exchange. Members: Angel, "Chameleon Girl", "Condiment King", Felix, "Flammable Lass", Skeeter, Time Killer, Warcry
The Hive (apparently not hampered by imprisonment of several cells): An organization with apparently great resources including plentiful high-tech weaponry, numerous agents, and many giant insects, but of unclear motives; they use drugs to induce a sense of camaraderie and secretion of pheromones appropriate to rank. Paranormal members: Blank Slate (former), Blue, Chance, Diva, Mosaic, The Rat, Saber (former). Important agents: Anna Mancuso (maybe), James Brown (leader of Mayor-napping team), Charles Mont (responsible for Priscilla Knight's explosive corset).
Illinois Christian Exemplars (many active members imprisoned): White supremacist scum, with several normal members crazed enough to commit violence and three paranormals: Acid Queen, Swastika, and White Noise. Used as pawns by Saber, which pissed them off no end when they found out what's under the armor.
The Lady of the Lake's Flunkies (first group imprisoned): People enthralled by the Lady of the Lake; the trilobite pilots were captured, but she may enchant new followers
Orogenics Inc. (at large): Company planning to do geothermal energy on a large scale, with very deep holes dug by Mole Machines. Above-board, but probably destined for a messy end. Run by mad scientist Patrick Winston. Owned by Regulon LLC.
Police Sciences Inc (disbanded): Now-defunct subsidiary of Ricecorp, responsible for creating and irresponsibly marketing the man-portable laser cannon and air ram used by so many villains.
Regulon LLC (at large): An important part of Mancuso's seedy corporate empire.
Saber Enterprises (missing a CEO): "Vulture Capitalists" specializing in shutting down defunct companies and realizing their assets for their creditors. Also the day job of Inquisitor and Saber, until their arrest.
The Spectrum Boys (in custody): Ultraviolet Rae's minions; low-powered paranormals.. Known to be involved in the exotic arms business. (Dark grey suits and color-coded ties.)
"Team Bridge" (at large): A group of ethical ecoterrorists, careful to not hurt people when destroying Evil Biotech Labs, lead by No Trump, sometimes allied with Team Justice. Members: No Trump, Club, Diamond, Heart, Spade
The Venusian Community Circus (in custody): The travelling carnival operated as cover by Doc Ares and his exotically-armed goons.

Acid Queen (ICE, at large): Acid powers, chains, leaping about.
Angel aka Angela Adler (Democratic Monster, released to Fulgurite's custody): Angel complete with feathered wings, aura of righteousness and guilt projection (blonde, blue-eyed, white-winged)
Anna Mancuso aka Social Butterfly (in custody): Daughter of Magnus Mancuso, queen of the Hive, shrinking powers (Italo-Scandinavian babe)
Blank Slate (Former Hiver mook, hospitalized): Infected with sensillae to save his life, alive but with empty mind
Blue (Hiver, at large): Highly trained martial artist, with the minor power to blind people by causing all light striking them to turn blue (wears a silly-looking bee outfit)
Bombshell (superhero): Brick with exploding powers (blonde teenaged girl)
Chameleon Girl (Democratic Monster, imprisoned): Invisiblity, clothes not included
Chance (Hiver, at large): Highly trained martial artist, with the minor power to grant 360-degree vision to her friends (wears a silly-looking bee outfit)
Chevalier aka Peter Knight (imprisoned): Light powers including laser claws and invisibility, plus sensillae, performed unethical experiments in spreading sensillae
Club (Team Bridge, at large): Life-sucking energy field of mutable shape, has appeared as a large dark-glowing orb and a stylish evening gown worn by Diamond (nominally? female)
"Condiment King" (Democratic Monster, imprisoned): Gadget-based chemical attacks including mustard gas
Daylight (Chevalier-flunky, depowered, imprisoned): Strange light projector with photoneural attack that turns corners
Diamond (Team Bridge, at large): Radiation projection, x-ray vision
Diva (Hiver, at large): Highly trained martial artist, with a minor sonic attack (wears a silly-looking bee outfit)
Doc Ares aka Thomas Gill (in custody): Dealer in and user of exotic weapons, buddy of Saber, wore Doc Justice-style armor
Dragonfly larvae (all known nests found and destroyed): Large carnivorous water bugs
Felix (Democratic Monster, imprisoned): Cat powers
"Flammable Lass" (Democratic Monster, imprisoned): Bursts into flames
Frost (Chevalier-flunky, depowered, imprisoned): Ice walls, possibly other cold powers
Heart (Team Bridge, at large): Brick with amazing tongue, leaping, possibly other frog powers
Hydra (Chevalier-flunky, depowered, imprisoned): Acid and metal powers, including entangles and poison gas
Inquisitor aka Lily Shea (in custody): Mentalist, operates by making people afraid (fragile little goth girl you might break if you hit too hard)
Lady of the Lake (at large): Literally enchanting mermaid, rented Saber 's trilobites to deal with lake-polluters
Magnus Mancuso aka Patron (in custody): Sleazy industrialist
Mist aka "Wetback" (minion of Anna Mancuso, at large): Turns into water (without taking his clothes), nigh-invulnerable even in human form, martial artist
Mosaic aka Sandy Crowe (at large): Very confusing egoist? duplicator? working for the CPD undercover within the the Hive. May be a double agent.
No Trump (leader of Team Bridge, at large): Shape shifter with precognition and other information powers, claims to be a 7000-year-old alien from Atlantis
Priscilla Knight (at large): Sister of Chevalier, wealthy, trouble-prone
Psyche (in custody): Freelance thug with knives of Psychic Force^TM, some mental powers, teleportation, unrestrained violence.
Pyro Boy aka Jefferson Grant (in custody): Ex-CPD loon with armor, lots of fireworks, and motorcycle-riding henchbabes, who went around blowing up drug dealers
Rat, The (Hiver, imprisoned): Fast, strong, whips around on swinglines at high speed, smart enough to use gadgets for special situations, apparently was bitten by a radioactive caterpillar in the jungles of South America
Saber aka James Rice (in custody): Gadgeteer, wears powered armor, built the trilobites, renegade Hiver, knows no fear, knows no common sense, thinks electricity was a step backwards in technological evolution (Doc Justice's illegitimate half-brother)
Skeeter (Democratic Monster, imprisoned): Bug swarm powers
Sovereign (superhero): The flying brick to blame for it all, now revealed for the alien von Neumann machine he is
Spade (Team Bridge, at large): Hand-based TK (big black guy with glowing silver hands)
Stealth (Chevalier-flunky, depowered, imprisoned): Personal space invisible to all senses from outside, flies
Suicide Watch aka Jordan (employee of Magnus Mancuso): Mentalist, bio-kinetic, provides mental defenses to others (designer straight-jacket and no-bite mask)
Swastika aka William Schmidt (ICE, in custody): Strong, fast, tough, has a shield which comes back to him when he throws it.
Time Killer (Democratic Monster, at large): Desolidifier
Ultraviolet Rae Howard (in custody): Flying brick with terrifying laser pistol. Leader of the Spectrum Boys, known to be involved in the exotic arms trade. Alleged to be the daughter of Sovereign, which he has neither confirmed nor denied.
Warcry (leader of Democratic Monster, imprisoned): Many scary teleportation-based powers, sees through walls, some energy powers
White Noise aka "Latte Lad" (ICE, at large): Fast, hits hard, whips the air around him into a froth that blocks sight and hearing.

Equipment &c

Air Ram (manufactured by Ricecorp subsidiary Police Sciences Inc): Crowd control weapon, barely sublethal against normal humans and pretty annoying to paranormals. Used heavily by Hiver mooks.
"Ares' Wrath" (from Doc Ares' collection): Hideous lethal nerve agent.
"Backoffman" (from Doc Ares' collection): Jet-powered foe-shoving device.
"Clouds of Jupiter" (from Doc Ares' collection): Smoke grenade with style.
Frostfire (from Doc Ares' collection): Crowd-control water-jet modified to freeze the soggy crowd with liquid N₂
GNU/Loompanics Autotarget Missile (aka GLAM) (originally from Doc Ares' collection, also used heavily by agents of the Hive).: Pretty smart manpack missile, agile enough to hit paranormals. Open-source military hardware, wheee!
Mind Control Grub (grown by the Hive): Icky, but otherwise mysterious.
Mole Machine (built by Orogenics, Inc): A large impressive tunnelling machine that uses lasers to fracture the rock ahead. Better performance than other tunnelling machines, but extremely fuel-hungry. Armored on the sides and front, but not the back.
Man-Portable Laser Cannon (manufactured by Ricecorp subsidiary Police Sciences Inc): Big chemical laser cannon that not only blows holes in things but flash-blinds the target on a near miss and sprays toxic flame out the front. Used heavily by Hiver mooks, despite its proclivity for exploding.
Sensillae (unknown origin; No Trump claims they are extraterrestrial): Strange symbiotic creatures like coarse soft hairs or cilia, usually red to orange in color, able to symbiose with most large organisms either on the outer integument or in the bloodstream. Each one is a sensory organ, so external sensillae grant greatly improved senses, and sensillae anywhere provide the host with high-bandwidth pheromonal communication. No one knows where they come from, but they demonstrably have no DNA. According to No Trump, when their population passes a certain density, sensillae develop into four-meter lamprey-things, but it's not clear if anyone believes her.
"Tears of Venus" grenade (from Doc Ares' collection): Acid sprayer.
Trilobite (made by Saber, from parts stolen from Ricecorp subsidiary Shirow Corp.): Essentially an amphibious tank with the performance of a Porsche, armed with waterjets of various sorts, run by an easy-to-use but highly bizarre fluidic control system. Limited endurance out of water, but still terrifying.
