Design a Coaster is an interactive exhibit allowing a user to design a virtual roller coaster. The program employs accurate physics calculations and 3D animation to create a realtime roller coaster simulation. Using context sensitive "help" videos, the user is introduced to basic concepts in physics (kinetic and potential energy, G-forces, and friction) while experimenting with the track. |

The Tech Cyclone is a virtual reality simulator that allows a user to "ride" a roller coaster. The user may ride a coaster of their own design, or select from other existing tracks. The simulation provides a realistic "rider's seat" view using realtime 3D graphics, combined with sound affects and vibration actuators to enhance the visual affect. |
