Windsurfing and snowboarding are powered by traditional forces, wind and gravity, clean and for windsurfing, unlimited.
On Donner Lake, the winds are so variable in force and even direction that it's not a popular windsurfing spot. That's OK with me. I still use an original patented Windsurfer board, indestructible, unsinkable, slow. Good for learning.
Certainly it's convenient - right out the back door of Donner Lake Village.
