Here's the place, shortly after it was built by Mr. Boillot in 1940.
His deed reflects the land's origin with a Spanish land concession called San Antonio pre-dating Mexican Independence in 1821.
The hill is overgrown now, home to squirrels, eagles, horses,
mockingbirds, hummingbirds, Stellar's jays, bluejays, chickadees, bugs of all kinds and a flourishing
night-shift of deer, rabbit, skunk, opposums, racoons. I added
the tub but the house hasn't changed much.
And the view is still inspiring.
