IME is a multi-specialty panel based in Northern California of experts in Family Practice, Orthopedics, Physiatry, Psychology and Neurology.
When you need a medical expert for any medical or legal problem, our panel of physicians are qualified medical experts for expert testimony. Attorneys find our medical expert testimony useful in legal matters when other medical experts are giving unfavorable medical testimony or when the records of other physican experts need review.

| Dr. Stuart Zeman is a board certfied orthopedic surgeon practicing general orthopedics in Lafayette, California. He has privileges at several local hospitals, membership in several national societies and a long history of professional sports affiliations. Approximately 25% of his practice is medical legal and worker's compensation. The legal cases are about 50/50 plaintiff and defense and most cases involve expert witness, treating physician, independent (IME) or qualified (QME) medical examination or record review. |  |
| John M. Friedberg, M.D., board certified in neurology, has had an office practice in Berkeley since 1979. A graduate of Yale and the University of Rochester, his expertise includes EEG (electro-encephalography) and EMG (electromyography). He has authored one book and numerous articles. He has many years of experience reviewing records and preparing evaluations and reports in medical-legal cases. He has been admitted as an expert in his field in courts in more than six states. |  |

psychologist with over 20 years experience diagnosing and
treating victims of physical and psychological trauma.
Medical legal work, including record review, depositions
and expert testimony comprise 20% of his practice.Both

faculty of UC Davis Medical School since 1979, and on the
medical staff at Alta Bates Medical Center since 1983.
