  Surrounds you with winds that circle at great speed. Since the wind picks up dust and other small objects, you may be obscured. Anyone standing near enough to attack you with a hand weapon must make a Size stress roll of 9+ at the beginning of each round or be blown back. Melee Attack rolls against you are at -3, and missile or thrown attacks are at -9. The wind blows while you concentrate, and then contiunes for five rounds after you stop.

Once you cast this spell, the arcane connection is destroyed. Another connection can only be formed by a magus if he has another of your personal objects.

A Strength stress roll of 12+ allows resistance, rolled each round.

  The target appears more forceful. authoritative, and believeable. Numerous subtle changes in appearance bring about this change, including a slight supernatural illumination of the face, a more erect posture, and a louder and smoother voice. The target's presence increases by +1, or rises to 0, whichever produces the higher result. The character gets +3 on rolls to influence, lead, or convince others.

  Concentrates the raw vis in a corpse into one part of that corpse, which can then be removed. This spell will let you gather all the raw vis you find without lugging around entire corpses of beasts.

History

1219 Offered "Secret Alexandrian Proposal" during Tribunal, 16th of April. Journeyed from Antioch to Alexandria. Arrived the day after the Winter Solstice. [ 1 xp. - Awareness ]

1220 (spring) Recruited the healer Fajid, and prevented random acts of murder and arson by impersonating a Djinn. [ 1 xp. - Speak Arabic ]

1220 (autumn) Explored around lake Faiyum. Renata befriended 'a Great and Powerful Efreet'. Tenebrum recovered his parens' ghost. Recovered two paws Terram Vis, and a well-behaved camel. [ 1xp. - Speak Arabic ]

1222 (summer) Explored and mapped underground canals of the Barge of Nephtys. Several levels of regio. Recovered eight pawns Mentem Vis (in four raven feathers) - Sagirah got the odd one.

Notes

Aurelia was bought, she was told, in a slave market in Palestine by her parens, Inflectis ex Domus Criamon. Inflectis was fascinated by changing and molding things, and wished to make his apprentice into a perfect helper according to his own design. He may never have intended to allow her to pass the gauntlet, but expected to keep her for himself.

She was raised in near seclusion, isolated from other magi and the world at large, knowing only Inflectis and his strange, silent grog/servants, who may have been outright creations or twisted humans themselves. Aurelia was trained as an apprentice (when she was being trained to do magic) so that she might be able to help Inflectis in his lab work. As a result, she has only loosely experienced the standard Hermetic education, and her magic doesn't work quite the way Hermetic magic normally does. She improvises well, both while dancing, and in the lab, but sometimes this gets out of hand, especially with spontaneous spells, and the results are... unexpected. Aurelia never speaks when casting magic, and uses graceful, full-body gestures. Her sigil makes sounds quieter and appear to be from farther off, but the effects are rather extreme for a mere sigil.

Eventually the Bonisagi caught up with Inflectis, but he trumped them by declaring that Aurelia had passed the gauntlet, and was a full Maga in her own right. Most likely he did this in an attempt to avoid any other magi from affecting his creation. However, the Bonisagi and Quaesitores took her aside for several days and had a long talk with her. Growing increasingly angry at her parens in particular and the Order in General, she disavowed her parens' House and declared herself/was classified part of House Ex Miscellanea.

Aurelia is tall for a woman, with the strong, graceful build of a dancer. She is probably of Levantine extraction, with olive skin, long glossy dark hair, dark eyes and a strong nose. Her body does not bear the usual Criamon glyphs. She is able to speak, but generally doesn't, to the point of being thought mute. (Her parens was very strict about not speaking most of the time.) Due to being raised in seclusion, Aurelia has problems dealing with large numbers of people. Although she doesn't have problems dancing in front of people, and could probably even give a lecture, a marketplace makes her extremely stressed and nervous.
