Setup

After you've signed up for your account, we ask that you look at our hints & how-tos to get the instructions for how to set up your computer. If you have any trouble, please call us and we will be glad to walk you through setting up your system.

Reaching us

There are three ways you can reach us for support: email, phone, and netnews. For email support, please send mail to support@idiom.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

For phone support, please dial (510) 595-4321 or (888) 663-8878. If you get an answering machine, please press 3 for current status information. It may direct you to another number for support that day. Please leave a message in any case - we may be on the line with someone else when you call. Typically telephone support is available M - F from 9 am to 5 pm. We try to return calls within 24 hours.

For support via netnews, please post your questions to idiom.help. This way, everyone else can see your question and the answer we give to it.

Emergencies

For middle-of-the night support, there is usually a pager number available on the main answering machine if you "press 4 for current status".

Only use the pager at night if you think that we have a major malfunction.
