





















How to set up your browser to use Idiom's web proxy
Idiom is not crrently running a proxy server.
Configuring Netscape
- At the menu bar, click on "edit".
- At the edit sub-menu, click on "preferences".
- Under "Category", on the left side of the new window, expand the sub-menu "Advanced".
- Under "Advanced" in the "Category" window, click on "Proxies".
- Click on the box to the left of "Manual proxy configuration".
- Click on the box to the right of "Manual proxy configuration", labeled "View".
- In the "HTTP Proxy" field, enter: proxy.idiom.com.
- In the "Port" field, to the right of the "HTTP Proxy" field, enter "3128".
- Click "OK" on all sub-windows until they are all gone.
Configuring Internet Explorer version 3
- At the menu bar, click on "view".
- At the view sub-menu, click on "options".
- At the menu bar in the new window, click on "Connection".
- Check the box to the left of "Connect through a proxy server".
- Click on the box to the lower right of "Connect through a proxy server", labeled "Settings".
- In the "HTTP" field, under "Address of the proxy to use", enter: proxy.idiom.com.
- In the "HTTP" field, under "Port", enter "3128".
- Click "OK" on all sub-windows until they are all gone.
Configuring Internet Explorer version 5
- At the menu bar, click on "tools".
- At the tools sub-menu, click on "options".
- At the menu bar in the new window, click on "LAN Settings".
- Check the box to the left of "Connect through a proxy server".
- Click on the box to the lower right of "Connect through a proxy server", labeled "Settings".
- In the "HTTP" field, under "Address of the proxy to use", enter: proxy.idiom.com.
- In the "HTTP" field, under "Port", enter "3128".
- Click "OK" on all sub-windows until they are all gone.
