Description:	Gofer is based quite closely on the Haskell programming language, version 1.2. It supports lazy evaluation, higher order functions, pattern matching, polymorphism, overloading etc and runs on a wide range of machines.
Conformance:	Gofer does not implement all of Haskell, although it is very close.
Ports:	many, including Sun, PC, Mac, Atari, Amiga, FreeBSD
Status:	maintained but not developed (for a while anyway)
