Set an S/Key password
Select Set an S/Key password
When you login over the Internet, it is possible for your
password to be sniffed by a cracker watching packets go by.
To prevent this, you can use one-time passwords. This
option, called S/Key, manages one-time password use. Using
this option you can generate one password to use immediately,
or you can generate 100 passwords and print them out. Then,
each time you log in over an insecure channel, you use one
of these passwords.
Note: if at any time you don't want to use a one-time
password, your regular password will work.
The passwords are generated in raw postscript. If you cannot
print raw postscript, you can still generate one password at
a time and use it immediately.
